Tax Payment Postponement and Tax Assessment Amendments for Tourism Sector in Malaysia
New Application Forms Uploaded by the IRB
Malaysia’s Inland Revenue Board (IRB) has allowed the companies in the tourism sector to do amendment to this year’s tax assessment. The IRB is also postponing tax payments for the sector and has provided the application forms to do so on its official website. This move is part of the Government’s Economic Stimulus Package to help industries cope with the impact left by the COVID-19.
Downloading Your Tax Assessment Forms
If you need the application forms to postpone the payments of assessed taxes, the forms are available on the IRB official website. Forms are also available for companies who need to apply for tax assessment amendments. Both copies of these forms are available in Malay.
All forms must be completed and submitted to the IRB starting from 1 March. Forms can be sent to the following address:
