ACCA Approved Employer Title 2014

3E Accounting Malaysia has been recognised the ACCA Approved Employer (AE) certificates, in recognition of their high standards of staff training, accountancy resources and professional development for ACCA members and trainees employed in their companies.

3E Accounting Malaysia is one of the over 170 business leaders and top executives attended an evening reception hosted by Anthony Harbinson, global president of ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), held last week at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur.

 

ACCA The Global Body for Professional Accountants

Harbinson was recently elected as president of the global body for professional accountants at the ACCA Annual General Meeting in London in September. The ACCA Presidential Evening was an opportunity for Harbinson to meet key stakeholders from the industry in his maiden visit to Malaysia.

Among the high profile guests included Datuk Nur Jazlan, Chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC); Dato’ Merina Abu Tahir, Acting Director of Corporate Services at MAS; Datin Teh Ija Mohd Jalil, Executive Director-Corporate Resources at Securities Commission Malaysia; Johan Merican, CEO of TalentCorp; John Kidd, Chief – Global Shared Service Centre at the UNDP Global Shared Services Centre; Datuk Dr Paul Chan, Vice Chancellor and President of HELP University; and Datuk Dr Tan Chik Heok, President of TAR University College.

 

3E Accounting Malaysia Recognised by ACCA

Harbinson presented the certificates to 3E Accounting Malaysia, expressing his congratulations to these companies, Harbinson said: “The employers recognised this evening come from various sectors – public, practice, corporate, shared services, regulators and government-linked companies. We are very proud of the diverse nature of our Approved Employers for this signifies how ACCA is recognised across a broad range of employers and industry players. We are truly grateful for all our stakeholders have done for, and with, us over the years.”

3E Accounting Malaysia with the other 21 companies join the global network of over 8,500 approved employers worldwide, providing the needed support to groom professional accountants. Through the ACCA AE programme and other partnership initiatives, ACCA seeks to grow the profession by enabling companies to develop the finance leaders of today and tomorrow in all business sectors through its network of 91 offices and centres worldwide.
