Dear Valued Customers,
Welcome to our E-Newsletter January 2020!
Welcome to our first newsletter for 2020! This year, our new year resolution is to continue making 2020 another year of incredible achievements after 2019’s success. Despite global uncertainties, 3E Accounting Malaysia accomplished a lot to be proud of in 2019. This year, we aim to do even better, especially where our clients are concerned.
3E Accounting is a business that has worked its way up since it was established. Our strong, robust, and continued success each year only serves as a testament to our commitment to excellence, and can be seen in the many awards and milestones we have achieved.
As we look forward to what’s in store for the year ahead, we thought this would be a good time to reflect on some of the accomplishments 3E Accounting Malaysia has made as we cross over from the last decade.
Expanding in the Global Scene
Ever since our Malaysia office opened in 2014, we have continued to grow in strength each year. In 2016, we embarked on our journey of international expansion and by last year, 3E Accounting International had a global footprint in over 60 countries!
New Opportunities in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)
2019 presented 3E Accounting Malaysia with new business opportunities under the BRI. I shared my views with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and discussed how accounting firms are tapping into the opportunities under the BRI.
In-House Digital Research and Development Team
Another exciting new addition to the 3E Accounting family is the formation of our in-house Digital Research and Development (R&D) team. As we gear up for the 4th Industrial Revolution, R&D is going to take on a crucial strategic responsibility. The team will help us prepare and future-proof our business. Our goal is to completely transform and enhance our operational and business efficiency using technology. This is going to be our Digital Journey into the future.
An Exciting 2020 Ahead
It is the age of Digital Transformation in Malaysia’s business environment this year. Malaysia is well underway in its transformation to a digital nation. Among its initiatives include the Shared Prosperity Vision 2030 and the Ministry of International Trade and Industry’s (MITI) National Policy on Industry 4.0 (Industry4WRD). The country is being increasingly encouraged to start using emerging technologies. In doing so, it will help fast-track and stimulate improvements in the industry as well as economic growth.
Technology shapes so much of our lives that if accounting firms were to embrace it wholeheartedly, it could revolutionise the way things are done. This is why 3E Accounting hopes more Malaysian accounting firms can embrace technology to remain competitive in today’s fast-paced and ever changing market.
Minister for Entrepreneur Development is also encouraging SMEs to begin implementing technologies created by Industry 4.0 revolution. Doing so will enhance productivity significantly while ensuring that the country continues to stay competitive in 2020 and beyond.
Even more good news come in the form of Bursa Malaysia’s optimistic outlook for 2020. The Stock Exchange’s Chief Executive Officer is expecting that approximately 40 new listing are going to be added this year. With higher growth projected for 2020, the new inclusions on the list will be a selection of Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) too. This is thanks to the incentives introduced by the government.
2020 is shaping up to be an exciting year, and from all of us at 3E Accounting Malaysia, we look forward to making it a memorable and profitable year with our clients.
