Reminder for Employment Insurance System (EIS) Account Registration

Warmest greetings from 3E Accounting! We hope your January 2018 has been a fruitful one so far.

We would like to gently remind you that you would need to apply for an EIS (Employment Insurance System) account, a policy which has been enforced by PERKESO since 1^st January 2018.

EIS is a social security network in Malaysia (managed by PERKESO) to provide social security protection for Malaysian employees to aid workers who have lost their jobs by providing them with financial assistance, job search, career counselling and job sustainability support services.

All employers in the private sector who have one or more employees registered under their company will be required to contribute towards the new EIS scheme. This requirement is mandatory.

 

As the month of January is coming to an end, we would like to once again remind all companies and businesses to register your EIS account as soon as possible, so your January 2018 payroll may be submitted on time.
