Dear Valued Customers,
It’s November and what a challenging year it has been for individuals and businesses. 2020 will be an unforgettable year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Malaysia and its people have proved resilient in times of challenge. We have many exciting updates throughout this year to share with you.
Malaysia Ranked 8th in Asia by Global Innovation Index
Malaysia is proud to be ranked as the 8th in Asia by the Global Innovation Index (GIL) 2020. This report was released by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). The theme for 2020 was Who Will Finance Innovation. This puts Malaysia in the 33rd spot globally. A total of 133 countries were ranked in the report.
Issuing of Ordinary Shares in Malaysia
The economic downturn caused by the pandemic has been hard on many. To survive, improving cash flow is a critical success factor. This applies to both new and existing businesses. The issuing of ordinary shares is one way to get the necessary funding.
At 3E Accounting Malaysia, our Malaysia Incorporation Services can help you launch your business on a strong foothold. What are some of the most common methods used by entrepreneurs to get the capital they need? Bank loans are one example. Finding a willing lender is another option. The third option is issuing ordinary shares in Malaysia.
Holding Your Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in Malaysia
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many ways in the running of a business. When the pandemic has devastated economies and companies and sales have taken a plunge, business timelines cannot wait for a company’s AGM (Annual General Meeting) to be held 3 months later. Companies can choose to hold an extraordinary general meeting.
The EGM is a special meeting. A company would call for this meeting to address its emergency situation. The EGM needs the attention of the shareholders, board members, and senior executives. An EGM looks at a company’s immediate concerns. that will impact the performance of the company if it is not resolved immediately.
Hiring A Corporate Service Provider or DIY in Malaysia
When a pandemic hits, all energy needs to be focused on the business operations. In times like these, you should consider getting a corporate service provider to help manage your company. A corporate service provider will have a range of responsibilities, from bookkeeping to company formation. It is their job to help you manage your company.
When you hire them, you get to pick and choose what services you need help with. Alternatively, you can let them go full-fledged and do it all for your business. This way, you get to focus on making your business plan work. You don’t have to outsource all your tasks, but when you have a lot to manage, there is a high possibility of costly mistakes happening when you do it all yourself. A corporate service provider will help to minimise those mistakes. To find out more, call +603 27338633 or email [email protected]
Until next time, stay safe everyone.
Thank you.
